Killed in Palestine.

Private George Longden, son of Mrs. Longden, of 41, Barnsley Road, Goldthorpe, and of the late Mr. G. Longden, has been killed in a road accident while on service in Palestine.

Mrs. Longden received a telegram conveying the sad news early this week.
