Pte. Roy Hellewell (20), only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Hellewell. 20, Lldgett Lane, Thurnscoe East, joined the – K.0.Y.L.1. eight months ago and Is serving in England.

He likes the life very much. Before joining up he was a hairdresser in Goldthorpe.

An all-round sportsman, he assisted Goldthorpe Tradesmen at cricket and football.
