Goldthorpe Guardsman 

One of the many Goldthorpe men serving in H.M. Forces is Guardsman C. Gough, of 36, Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, who is stationed in England with the Coldstream Guards.

Before joining up last May, Gough was a plumber for eight years.
