Mrs. Collier, Doncaster road, has received news that her husband, Lcp. C. W. Collier (Y. and L.), was killed in action on Oct. 9.

He was first reported -wounded and missing, but this week he is officially reported killed.

He leaves a widow and one child.

His parents also live at Goldthorpe, and have now lost two sons in the war.
