Lcp. Ernest Brammer (Lancashire Fusiliers), was killed in action on October 4. he had been in the army three years He leaves a wife and two children whose home is at 12, Railway View, Goldthorpe

Mrs Brammer has received message of sympathy from one of her husband’s comrades; who says:

“It may be of some little comfort to know that the action a great success, due to the great devotion of the men. I take this opportunity of  conyeying the deep sorrow  of the company. ”
