Lester Moore
A popular figure on local tracks is Lester Moore, of Goldthorpe, whose photograph is reproduced in this issue.
Leicester is one of the two well-known brothers. Both he and Arthur have recently equipped themselves with new mounts. Lester has chosen a Douglas, on which he has already won honours. Thrice as Leicester carried off the “golden wings” at Wombwell, to extract is now assigned as a regular rider.
He has also made a big impression at the Sheffield and Barnsley tracks.
