Expensive Pleasure

Charles Staton and J. Nock, miners, Highgate, were at Doncaster on Saturday summoned for using a gun to take game, at Thurnscoe, on-Sunday, Sept 1st. Both men are ex-soldiers.

They were found by the police with guns in their possession, and also a dog. When they saw the policeman they ran away.

Nock said he bought the gun from a man who had now gone to Canada.

Each defendant was ordered pay the full penalty of £5
