America and Barnburgh got together on Thursday night as New York schoolteacher Miss Hamm  is given some cricket tips by Cecil Smith, of Barnburgh Cricket Club.

Miss Hamm who is staying in Royston, visited the office of the “South Yorks Times” in Mexborough, called in at Barnburgh, and saw Conisbrough Castle.
