This Alsatian, owned by Mr. Brown, a Goldthorpe newsagent, specialises in opening doors. Latches and knobs come alike to him; he uses his paws for the former and his teeth for the latter, and he goes from room to room with the ease and certainty of a human being.
Like a human being, too, he is more apt at opening doors than shutting them.
