Dirt Track Racing
Keen Riding at the Lundwood Speedway.
A Goldthorpe Crack.

One of of the keenest not to mention one of the most successful—riders on the motor cycle dirt track speedway at Lundwood, Barnsley, is Arthur Moore, of Goldthorpe. One of two brothers well known to the motor cycling fraternity, Moore is a youth of the care – free, happy-go-lucky type, and in his temperamental make-up is that sublime disregard of personal risk that is the “sine qua non” of the successful motor cycle racer.

Moore has been very much in the limelight of late.

Riding his Ariel machine at Lundwood on Saturday, be wrested the Lundwood Silver Sash from Joe Mitchell in a scratch event, and (riding scratch) qualified to ride in the final in the handicap race. A prosperous future as a motor cycle dirt track racer is prophesied  for him .
