Wedding: Whittaker & Smeaton
The wedding of Miss Mary Fanny Whittaker, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A Whittaker, 41 Nora Street, Goldthorpe and Mr. Arthur Smeaton, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Smeaton, 9, Risedale Road, Goldthorpe took place in the Congregational Church on Monday, the Rev, Darrell officiating.
The bride was given away by her father and wore white silk with short cape, and carried tulips and forget-me-nots.
She was attended by Misses E. Whittaker, N. Smeaton. J. Whittaker, R. Whittaker, E. Smeaton and D. Smeaton in blue silk with georgette coatees.
The best man was Mr. A. Willis land the groomsman Mr. E. Willis.
A reception was held in the Reform Club.
