Miss Annie Hattersley, daughter of Mr and Mrs Hattersley, of 7 Melton Hill, High Melton was married at High Melton Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. Eric Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stevens. of 16, Hollowgate Lane, Barnburgh.

Canon Greenwood officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white satin beatue gown and a coronet of orange blossom and trailing veil, she carried red roses. Her bridesmaids were Misses Vera Hattersley. Audrey Hattersley, and Lily Brownlow, of Leeds. A page boy, Bernard Stevens, was attired in blue velvet. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were bangles. The best man was Mr. Jack Stevens and the groomsman Mr. Dennis Stevens.

A reception was held at the Barnburgh Memorial Hall by the bride’s parents.
