To Study in London

Here is a recent photograph of Mr. George Wall, the 21-year-old son of Ernest Wall,

Frederick Street, Goldthorpe, who has gained an Open Free Scholarship, tenable for three years at the Royal College of Music, London, being the first singer in the district to gain this distinction.

Mr.Wall is at present on the clerical staff at the Barnburgh Colliery and will begin his studies next month.
