Pte. Arthur Criddle and Sgt. C. Marshall, both of the Connaught Rangers, are reported killed in action.

They enlisted together four years ago, and served together in Gallipoli.

Pte. A. Criddle is a son of Councillor and Mrs Criddle, who have another son in hospital in the South of England, badly wounded.

Sgt. Marshall was a Military Medallist, and was to have come to England shortly to train for a commission.
