Private Emanuel Wright (York and Lancaster)

was killed on July 1 after having been 11 months in France.

His parents, reside at 5 Victoria St Goldthorpe, and have received many letters of sympathy for these are very grateful.

He was a footballer of no mean ability, and well known here.
