Sergeant Instructor Charles Stuart, of 127, Furlong Road, Bolton, is an old Boltonian and has 15 years’ Army to his credit, 14 years as a Territorial and the last 12 months with the regulars.

Sergeant Instructor Stuart is stationed at a Yorkshire depot for receiving and instructing new recruits.

He is an old Goldthorpe and Bolton Council Scholar, and was before being in the regular Army , employed at the Barnburgh Main Colliery.
