Killed In Action

Mr and Mrs. Sales of 183, Furlong Road, Goldthorpe, have received official information that their son, Spr. Leonard Sales, has been killed in action in Normandy.

Spr. Sales had been in the Forces for 12 years, serving abroad most of the time. He was married and his wife lives in the South of England.  They have no children.
