Driver Alexandre Phelps, who is 20 on April 4^th, is the son of Mrs. E. Phelps, of 9, Catherine Street, Goldthorpe.  He has been in the Army for twelve months and in Egypt with the R.A.S.C. about six months.  He was formerly a collier at Goldthorpe Main.
