Eleven Years’ Service

Sapper Arthur Hartley, adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mowforth, 27, Jackson Street, Goldthorpe, on leaving school joined the Royal Engineers (eleven years ago), for three years’ technical training as an architect and surveyor.

He gained his first, second and third year passes and also a special certificate.

He is at present out East and well and happy.
