A week or two ago we published the appreciative comments of Sapper S. J. Green, of 93, Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, on the get-you-home scheme which is being operated by men of goodwill in Thurnscoe.

Sapper Green wrote: “I landed at Doncaster at 10 p.m., and should have had to walk to Goldthorpe but for this service.”

Sapper Green has read the “Times” for thirty years and still looks forward to its regular ar. rival.
