Private A Chapman Hall Street, Goldthorpe, died of wounds on October 8.

He has on a previous occasion been reported killed, and has also been mentioned in dispatches.

His brother, Pte. G.-Chapman, Manchester Regiment, was reported wounded and missing on March 8, 1916, and has since been reported killed
