Two at Sea

Two sons of Mr and Mrs H Phillips, of Castle View, Fox Lane, Barnburgh, are now at sea.

The elder, leading Seaman Norman Phillips has been with the Royal Navy for 17 months, before which he was a full-time member of the A.F.S. in Mexborough.

He is married and lives at 20, Dodsworth Street, and has one son aged four.

Humphrey, who is 20, is a Seaman Gunner and is serving with the Royal Navy. Until a year ago he was employed as a joiner by Mr Ben Bailey.
