Goldthorpe Picture House Change.

Acquired By Mr. E. H. West.

Mr. E. H. West, the popular and enterprising proprietor of the Goldthorpe Empire, has this week completed arrangements by which he will acquire the sole control of the Goldthorpe Picture House.

This news will be generally welcomed by cinema enthusiasts in Goldthorpe and district, for under Mr. West’s control during the past eight years the Empire has become the most popular rendezvous of the district.

The Picture House is a most attractive and commodious building, well-furnished and equipped for the comfort of patrons, and it may be confidently anticipated that any improvements which it is possible for Mr. West to make for the further comfort and convenience of patrons will be quickly forthcoming.

Mr. West will take over control of the Picture House as from Easter Monday, April 1st, and it is his intention to provide programmes and entertainment equally as good as that which he has given at the Empire, and already he has been able to secure, some of the biggest attractions of the film world to appear in the near future.
