The replayed final at Mexborough yesterday drew 3000 spectators.

The first half was well contested.

Revel gave Goldthorpe the lead, but Angel put Parkgate on level terms. At half-time’s the score stood at one all.

The second half Ryalls and Brazel scored for Goldthorpe who were the better team to the end.
