Goldthorpe Dog Case.

George Horne, miner, Goldthorpe, was summoned for keeping a dog without a license.

Police-constable Sowray said he called to see the defendant about the dog’s license on the 14th inst. The defendant was not at home, and the witness went again the next day, when he was shown a license which had been taken out 25 minutes after his first visit.

The defendant, who did not appear, was fined 10/- and the costs.
