Frickley Colliery 5  Goldthorpe United 1

Frickley Colliery defeated their neighbours, Goldthorpe United, by 5-1 at South EJmsall, in the second round of the Sheffield Challenge Cup.

Goldthorpe put up plucky display, especially after the interval, against the more exerienced Frickley, Greatorex performed the “hat trick” in the first half, Grice getting the fourth.

Goldthorpe greatly improved after the interval, and J. Hadlington scored.
