Dearne Stalwarts

Pictured are two Dearne Athletic stalwarts,(left), Stan Pickering (left or right full back and a good young defender whose home is at Highgate) and (right) Eric Macker, considered by many to be one of the best local half backs. Aged 22, he can fill any half back position with success. He lives at Goldthorpe.
