Drunk and Disorderly

for being drunk and disorderly, the following were fined:

George Pond, miner, Kilnhurst, 5/– and costs
Albert, glassblower, Kilnhurst, 5/– and costs
George Jackson, miner, Denaby, 5/– and costs

Bad Language

the following were fined for having used bad language:

Philip Swaby, filler, Denaby 5/– and costs
Albert Rayner, filler, Denaby 10/– and costs
Emma Lawrence, widow, New Conisbrough, 5/– and costs
Ada Bond, married, New Conisbrough, 5/– and costs.

Indecent Miners

for indecent conduct, Thomas Murphy, a miner, of Denaby, was ordered to pay 2/6 and costs;
and William Peace, a miner, of Swinton, was fined 2/6 and costs.

Cycling on the footpath at Adwick

Harry Newton, a miner, of Thurnscoe, was fined 2/6 and costs for riding a bicycle on the footpath at Adwick on Dearne, on November 20.
PC Ellis gave evidence.
The defendant appeared and pleaded guilty, and said he rode on the footpath for a distance of 40 or 50 yards. The road was very rough.

Drunks in Custody

The following persons were fined for having been drunk and disorderly on the previous day:

James Cheetham, labourer, 2/6 and costs
John Wilson, labourer, Goldthorpe 2/6 and costs
Patrick Connell, 2/6 and costs.
