At a Guinness Science Award ceremony, Mrs Joan Butler is seen receiving the fourth prize of £40 for science teachers in service, from Lord Annan.

Mrs Butler, who is at Thurnscoe infant School, lives at 32 Washington Road, Goldthorpe.
