Mrs. C. H. Clark, of Basingstoke, and formerly of 37, Washington Rd, Goldthorpe, has received news that her son, Sgt. Douglas Clark (23), is missing from an operational flight with the R.A.F., to which he transferred after reserving with the R.A.

He had completed about 40 sorties.

Two of his brothers are serving with the R.A.F., Sgt. Kenneth Clark having completed 15 years, and Flt.-Sgt. Charlie Clark 12 years.  Charlie is now abroad.  Douglas attended Highgate School.
