A Danger at Goldthorpe.
Richard Burnside, horse dealer, Barnsley, was summoned for being in charge of a trap without a light at Goldthorpe, on the 9th inst.
The defendant was also summoned for having been drunk in charge of the horse and trap at the same time and place.
He pleaded guilty to both charges. He said he had been off drink a long time, but met with some friends. He was very sorry.
P.c. Wressell, in reply to the Chairman, said the case was an ordinary one.
A penalty of 2/6 and 6/6 costs in the first case, and with costs in the second ease was imposed.
