A Common Danger.
Martin Geraghty, labourer, of Goldthorpe, was summoned at the Doncaster Petty Sessions on Tuesday, for riding a cycle on June 7 after lighting-up time without either front or rear light. Asked by the Chairman for his defence, defendant said “I have nothing to say.”
The Chairman Have you a red light on your bicycle?—No.
The Chairman: The sooner you have one the better. You are a danger to yourself and a danger to others. Geraghty was fined 9s for each offence.
