Pte. R. Hyde, son of Mrs. Hyde and late Mr. Hyde, of Goldthorpe, was called up with the Militia.

His sister resides at Great Houghton, and Pte. Hyde always visited Houghton when on leave.

He is now in Iceland and batman to an officer.
