Goldthorpe Patriots

Of the three sons of Mr. Harding, 1, King street, Goldthorpe, one, Lc.p. Harding  (K.O.Y.L.I.) (picture, left) was killed last March.

Gunner J. Harding (Royal Field Artillery) (picture centre), after serving two and’ a half years, has been invalided home and discharged.

Pte. W. Harding (Worcester Regiment) (picture right) has now won the D.C.M., and has received a. letter from Major General Beauvoir de Lisle as follows: —

“Allow me to congratulate you on your act of gallantry and devotion to duty on October 9, 1917, which has been brought. to my notice by your commanding officer.”
