Dr Craik’s long term as a resident of Goldthorpe ended o Monday Night, when a large and respresentative gathering met to present him with a medicine case, on behalf of the business people of the place.

Dr Craik, who is now serving with the R.A.M.C., obtained 48 hours special leave in order to attend the presentation
