His Eighth

“Mother Goose,” which will be staged at Goldthorpe Welfare Hall from Tuesday, February 24th to Saturday, February 28th, by Bolton-on-Dearne Theatrical Society, will be Alfred H. Barnes’s eighth annual pantomime.

Mr. Barnes is renowned for the ingenuity of his productions, and this year will be no exception. He promises his Dearne patrons the Hall of Gold, the Highland Gathering, the “Parasol” phantasy and the Magic Well, as well as the woodland ballet of demons and fairies.

More than 300 costumes will be used in the 10 scenes.
