Wedding: Rowley & Lee

The wedding of Miss Stella Lee. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Lee, of Kelly Street, Goldthorpe, and Mr. Fred Rowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Rowley, Furlong Road. Goldthorpe, took place at the Parish Church, Goldthorpe. on Saturday, the Rev. H. Howard officiating.

The bride wore lemon flowered georgette with coatee and picture hat. and carried cream tea roses. She was attended by Miss Greta Houlton, who wore powder-blue silk with Juliet cap, and carried pink sweet peas. Peter Cutts. in a suit of white satin, was page.

The best man was Mr. Harold Thompson (Doncaster), and the groomsman Mr. C. H. Houlton. The bride’s mother wore figured black and lemon silk, and the bridegroom’s mother blue and cerise flowered silk.

The couple motored to Blackpool for the honeymoon.
