Dog Offences at Goldthorpe.

A labourer, named Ernest Briggs, who lives at at Goldthorpe, was summoned for having allowed his dog to be at large without a muzzle, and without a collar bearing his name and address. He was also summoned for keeping the dog while not having a licence.

The defendant did not appear.

P.c. Blenkinsop said that at 11-15 on Monday, the 8th inst., he saw a brown and white lurcher dog in High Street, Bolton on Dearne. It had on an a leather strap, but there was no name and address. OnĀ  making enquiries he found that the defendant had no licence.

Fines of 20s for having no licence, and 10s for the offence against the Rabies Order, were imposed.
